LANScan Traffic Trends - Using the Popup Menu

The popup menu on the Trend view is a powerful tool for gathering network information. Place your cursor on the Trend View and right-click the mouse - you'll see the following popup menu:

Test lets you perform a PING or TRACERT on any IP address device. View launches a LANScan Device View, which isolates the traffic to/from a specific network address and reports in real time only on that activity. Isolate and Stop Isolate cause the Trend to display a plot only for the device highlighted in the list. 

Names displays the Name submenu. From there you can change the network address type displayed in the list and on the Trend. This is a great feature for locating network traffic sources. Switch the Trend view to show MAC addresses and you'll get one Trend line and list entry for each physical device on your LAN segment.. Address Details displays a popup dialog showing all network addresses associated with a specific device.

Pause will freeze the Trend view. Use this feature to examine the graph and list contents without any updates interrupting you. Settings displays the Settings dialog.
